Tristan.

My gf, before raising her health baseline with wellness practices, would take vitamin D supplement and immediately feel energetic and more emotionally resilient (less crazy).

How should I interpret this?

That an increase in "blood 25-OH Vit D levels" was literally missing for her... And restoring that in her blood caused the improvement?

I ask this because now that she's healthier as a whole... Maybe time for her to drop the supplement and sun tf up.

Yup I'm maxing out my Vit D right now in Jersey going to the naked beach as often as I can and walking around outside with my feet on the ground as naked as legally possible lol. I don't agree with getting in tanning beds in the winter, and cold plunging in the summer, talk about confusing our body..... Our body is smart enough to store up everything we need as long as your eating high fat carnivore!

Well, you’re obviously not a doctor and you obviously don’t read clinical research. You’ve obviously never worked with patients who have benefited from vitamin D plantation. https://www.academia.edu/40429791

Great stuff Tristan. Started supplementing with Vit D this winter and literally felt nothing. This explains a lot!

Yeah bruh its time to realize you’ve been duped as far as dosage goes..which is okay it happens but 5000iu is not a dosage you will find to help your body let alone a months worth of taking it..

I can’t take a vit D3 supplement at all because it causes bad joint pain for me.

I have moderate osteoarthritis and D3 just cripples me. Does anyone else have this reaction? The internet always claims the opposite, that it reduces inflammation.

I usually supplement with d3/k2 in the winter months and never ever catch a cold/flu but I also do cold exposure, keto, etc. I might try to go with the supps this winter.

Vitamin A is important for this balance as well. Do you eat lots of seafood or liver?
